Coretanino.



Bandung's own prolific sketcher and illustrator was graduated from the Interior Design Department of ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology). He now runs his own animation and multimedia production house in Bandung.


Coretanino's works have been exhibited at the Tokyo Game Show in 2014, 200 years of Legacy & Heritage, The Kingdom of Netherlands at the Erasmus Huis Jakarta in 2015, and the Sketsaforia Urban Exhibition at the National Gallery, Jakarta in 2019. He gave a demo at the International Urban Sketching Symposium 2015 in Singapore.

Coretanino's Workshop



People and activities are indispensable from urban sketching. They add interest and stories to your sketches and make urban sketches alive and meaningful.


In this workshop, Coretanino will share the basics of figure drawings as well as his techniques for observation and drawing gestures of people - from a single person to a large crowd as they go about their life. Well, people don't stop and pose for you in urban sketching. :-)

Day 3, 19 September 2020. Afternoon


Workshop Level: any level could learn from this workshop.


Duration: 3 hours comprising model-sketching demo and exercise, followed by a discussion.


What to bring: comfortable pen or marker. Paper will be provided. Digital tools are welcome, too.
